Tile Sample Boards for perfect product presentation.

Information for Specifying & Buying Tile Sample Boards.

Based in Staffordshire within the heart of the Potteries, we at QPS Print often work alongside ceramics and tile manufacturers.

One of the display items that we use our expertise to produce are Tile sample boards, also known as hand boards or tile display boards.

If you’re looking for boards, either get in touch or visit our new online Tile Sample Boards shop here.

These are the sample squares stuck on a board that you see on display in tile showrooms. Full of product samples that are fixed down on either plastic or MDF, they are designed to visually show off a manufacturer’s new range.
Tile sample boards can be used for:

  • Stone and brick samples
  • Flooring and laminate examples
  • Ceramic and porcelain tiles
  • Carpet tile samples
  • Wall tiles including split face

We’ve supplied tile hand boards to (amongst others): concrete companies, stone and tile manufacturers, carpet companies, paving suppliers and bathroom specialists.
They’ve been used to display everything from ceramic squares to kitchen taps to ironmongery fittings with each one being individually designed and produced here in our print factory and now available in our online Tile Display Sample store.

Larger sized tile display boards (around 750x350mm) are perfect for presenting flooring and laminate samples. Medium sizes of around 500x400mm are ideal for wall, floor or carpet tile displays. Smaller boards can help products like ceramic tiles feel right at home.
We can produce tile sample boards at any bespoke size to fit your samples or showroom.

Not sure if our tile display boards are right for your business? Contact us at info@qpsprint.co.uk or on 01782 413789 to find out more.

Alternatively, check out our new Tile Sample Boards store for printed and unprinted sample boards direct from the manufacturer.

Printed Tile Sample Boards

When your customers come walking in, they are looking for vision and inspiration – show them a display board with real impact!

Having the chance to make your tile sample boards differently is in our DNA – when other suppliers give a choice of plain lettering on basic boards, we can offer full-colour print on both sides.
Standard tile board manufacturers offer a simple flat edge around the board and square or oval cut-out handles. With our routing software and machines, why not opt for a more intricate or ornate cut-out and edge?

To manufacture the tile display boards we use high-density solid foam PVC (foamex). It’s a great option for display hand boards – durable, tough and fantastic looking when printed and finished.

Foam PVC is available in both white or black and depending on the final purpose, we use either 5mm or 10mm thickness. It’s a robust substrate that can be trimmed and cut cleanly for handles with easy handling and no rough edges or burrs.
It’s also 100% moisture resistant so will not bow or warp like standard MDF boards.

If you envisage your logo and branding on another substrate, talk to us at info@qpsprint.co.uk or visit https://sampleboardco.co.uk/
We’re knowledgeable and flexible with media choices and our printers can handle pretty much anything (within reason!)

Make Use Of The Real Estate

These sample boards will show off the tiles but when designing don’t forget to use the full board to state something more.
When you’ve got space, use it to say something. We would never want to distract from your product. But with a little thought in the planning stage, there’s prime real estate around the tiles to say something more with copy about your company and the specific product.

Coming up with clever tweaks and little ideas like this is what makes us at QPS Print tick. There’s a team here poised and eager to discuss your requirements. Contact us at info@qpsprint.co.uk and put us to work! Design can be difficult – don’t suffer in silence at your computer screen!

After you’ve decided on how to make your new tile display boards the best yet, the designs are moved from the computer screen to one of our printers.
Our digital machines run at the highest resolutions possible with full white inks for maximum clarity and oomph.
We guarantee your printed sample boards will stay as vibrant as the day they were created. After you’ve spent your time getting them to look extraordinary, we will make sure they stay that way.

PS – still not convinced how we can increase your showroom’s wow factor and help bring your tile display board ideas to life? Call us on 01782 413789 or email info@qpsprint.co.uk.
