Tile Sample Boards – Made To Show Off Your Products!

All The Info For Specifying & Buying Tile Sample Boards

Being based in Stoke-on-Trent in the heart of the potteries, here at QPS Print we often get asked to work alongside ceramic and tile manufacturers. One of those display items that we often use our expertise to print are Tile sample boards or hand boards (every request seems to have a different name!)

These are the squares on a board that you see on display in tile showrooms. Full of product samples that are fixed down on either plastic or MDF, they are designed to show off a manufacturer’s sparkly new range.

Tile sample boards can be used for:

  • Stone and brick samples
  • Flooring and laminate examples
  • Ceramic and porcelain tiles
  • Carpet tile samples
  • Wall tiles including split face

Larger sized tile display boards (around 700 x 350mm) are perfect for presenting flooring and laminate samples. Medium sizes of around 500mm x 400mm are just the ticket for wall, floor or carpet tile displays. Smaller boards can help products like ceramic tiles feel right at home.

In fact, we can produce tile sample boards at any bespoke size to fit your showroom.

If you have an idea for something a little different to fit in your new display stands, get in touch.

When your customers come walking in, they are looking for vision and inspiration – show them a display board with real impact!

Having the chance to make your tile samples boards differently is in our DNA – its why we love ink! When other suppliers give a choice of black or white, we offer full-colour print both sides.

Other tile board manufacturers offer a simple flat edge around the board and square or oval cut-out handles. With our routing software we like to think if different is what you’re looking for, why not look at options for a more intricate or ornate cut-out and edge.

To manufacture the tile display boards, we use quality MDF or high-density foam PVC. Both are great options for display handboards – durable, tough and fantastic looking when printed. We especially like the way the MDF can show through any unprinted areas to create a sense of the rustic or recycled.

If you see your logo and branding on another substrate from these options, talk to us. We’re flexible with media choices and our printers can handle pretty much anything (within reason!).

Printed tile sample boards

A lot of these display boards might show off the tiles but when designed they forget to use the board to state something more. When you’ve got that space use it to say something. We would never want to distract from the product but with a little thought in the planning stage, there’s prime real estate around the tiles that can say something more about your company and brand.

Coming up with clever little ideas like this are what makes QPS Print tick. There’s a team here poised and eager to discuss your requirements. Put us to work! Design can be difficult – don’t suffer in silence at your PC screens!

After you’ve decided on how to make your new tile display boards the best yet, the designs are moved from the computer screen over to one of our printers.

Our digital printers work at the highest resolutions possible for maximum clarity and oomph. The inks we use are super hard wearing and fade resistant.

We guarantee your printed sample boards will stay as vibrant as the day they were created. After you’ve spent your time getting them to look extraordinary, we make sure they stay that way.

PS – Still not 100% convinced of how we can increase your showroom’s wow factor and help bring your tile display board ideas to life? Call us on 01782 413789 and ask for one of our print packs that include tile sample boards.
